Jibby stands for a “jitter-less buzz.” Our name is inspired by Secondly, the jib, the front-most sail of a sailboat which, has the crucial role of keeping the sailboat steady and on course. In our coffee, you can think of CBD as your jib, and caffeine as your mainsail. We thought that was fitting. 

No, you will never get “high” from CBD. Unlike THC, the primary substance in marijuana, CBD is non-psychoactive. Our CBD is derived from American-grown hemp, not marijuana. You won’t even feel so much as fuzzy from our products.

Cold-brewed coffee has been enjoyed as early as the 17th century by the Japanese, who drank an early form of cold brew—or what we today call Kyoto-style coffee. Cold brew has seen recent popularity due to its naturally-sweet and smooth flavor—many people don’t feel the need to add a sweetener or creamer. We drink our cold brew black but feel free to enjoy Jibby however you like! 

Slightly chocolatey, naturally sweet, and with the wonderful aroma of a specialty Colombian coffee. Every other ingredient is perfectly balanced to be undetectable in flavor and synergistic in feeling.   

Medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil contains medium-length chains of fats called triglycerides. Due to their shorter length, MCTs are easily digested and many health benefits are linked to the way your body processes these fats. MCT oil is extracted from coconut oil. We use just a little bit in our beverages to aid in the solubility and bioavailability of our CBD.

Gum arabic is a gum or sap that is exuded from the acacia tree. It works as a natural emulsifier and a coating agent to ensure our freshly-roasted Colombian coffee is the only thing you taste.

Citric acid is a natural preservative that comes from citrus fruits like lemons and limes! We use a tiny amount of citric acid to neutralize CBD bitterness so that all you taste is that great, chocolatey Colombian coffee.

Yes! Our coffee is made with no animal products. It is 100% plant-based and plant powered. 

Yes! Our beverages are 100% gluten free. We get it. You’re new to CBD coffee. Lots of questions. But, come on. Gluten in coffee? Now you’re gonna ask if we add butter or something. Ew.

No, nope, nuh-uh, and heck no! 

Our CBD is unique because we use a water soluble formulation—meaning it can mix into water-based beverages like coffee. We first cold brew our coffee and then add our CBD before pasteurization.

Both the to-go can and the boxed cold brew have a shelf life of 6 months! That is due to our proprietary method of pasteurization.

We think our cold brews taste best cold but you don’t need to refrigerate them before opening. Our products are pasteurized and shelf-stable. After opening, we recommend refrigerating to maintain freshness. 

Other than coffee, water, and CBD, there are three other natural ingredients in Jibby Original Black Cold Brew: 1. Citric acid: a natural preservative extracted from citrus fruits. 2. Gum arabic: a sap that is exuded from the acacia tree. It works as a natural emulsifier and a coating agent to ensure our freshly-roasted Colombian coffee is the only thing you taste. 3. MCT oil: since CBD is a fat-soluble substance, we add just a little bit of MCT oil (coconut oil), as it acts as a carrier for CBD and allows it to be absorbed into your coffee (and your body) more effectively. 

We partnered with roasting and brewing masters in Minnesota to roast and brew at the same brewery and ensure all our cold brew is made with freshly-roasted coffee.

Absolutely! Our coffee can reach 180° F and still maintain the efficacy of the CBD. Jibby your way.

The combined effect of CBD and caffeine has not been shown to have any negative health effects. We recommend that you consume as much of our coffee as you would any other. 

Your Jibby Coffee should be refrigerated after opening and should be enjoyed within 30 days.

We purposely produce 100% recyclable canned and boxed coffee to avoid introducing more plastic products to the market. Having said that, our boxed coffee still has a BPA-free plastic bag and our cans have plastic label wraps. Though this is considerably less plastic than a plastic bottle, we are committed to find alternatives swiftly and we encourage you to submit ideas or recommendations for how best to improve our environmental impact.

• Boxed: simply separate the plastic and cardboard and recycle accordingly. Make sure the plastic bag is drained of all coffee! 

• Can: Use a scissor to remove the label wrap. Then, recycle the can and plastic wrap separately.

We ethically source ingredients from two countries. Our CBD is produced from 100% American-grown hemp, and our coffee blend is purely Colombian.

Yes! Our coffee is sourced from small-batch organic farms in Colombia. We use a blend for cold brew that is pulled from these farms’ top lots and our farmers are paid a premium for their delicious, chocolatey coffee. The hemp we use is 100% American grown and pesticide-free. It is processed in a lab in Colorado to be isolated carefully and fully stripped of all unwanted ingredients, like THC.
